Hi, I’m Rachel!
I’m an illustrator based in Vancouver, BC by way of Japan and Hong Kong. Since graduating from Emily Carr University with a BFA in Fine Arts, I’ve been lucky enough to turn my lifelong drawing habit into a full-time career.
WHAT I DO:
✎﹏Publishing: 8 children’s books (and counting!), including a few award winners.
✎﹏Editorial & Commercial: Vibrant artwork for magazines and newspapers, marketing campaigns, brands, and the occasional mural.
✎﹏Inspiration: I’m drawn to everyday magic, cultural roots, and those quiet "in-between" moments.
When I’m not at my desk, you can find me clearing my head on a long run, sipping over-steeped tea, or attempting something overly ambitious in the kitchen.
